hand-forged and welded steel frame amalgamated with a hammered brass seat and back rest. the flow S4 side chair was conceived after six weeks of material exploration in copper, steel, brass, aluminium and bronze.

stage 1/ metal experiments
the first step of the project was to experiment with working and welding different metals like steel, aluminium, brass, bronze and copper.
stage 2/ finish experiments
the next step was to experiment with different styles of metal finishing like enamel, polishing sand blasting and patina.
stage 3/ planning & building the parts
the final step involved 3D modeling the chair, welding the frame and hammer forming the seat and back rest.
